Series Points Thunder in the Sand (UPDATED)

Gates open Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

Registration Times are as follows:
Friday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. registration window closes promptly at 8 a.m. no exceptions please pre-register if you are going to be late.  The race order will be posted by 9 a.m. (no exceptions)!
*We strongly suggest you pre-register for your classes. Pre-registration will be accepted off the website until the Thursday before the race.

 

Fee: $40 PRO $30 AMATEUR

Practice:
Friday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m. for the spring motocross and 11 a.m. until dusk for the fall motocross
There is an additional fee for practice, it is $20.

• Test 'n Tune will follow 1 hour after practice there is an additional fee.  You must be a registered rider for the event in order to participate in the Test ‘n Tune. Paddle tires are ok for the Test 'n Tune Track. This is not practice it is an additional function to have fun.

Saturday: 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. HOT LAP. * (Reminder on Saturday only one hot lap per rider.)

Sunday: NO PRACTICE
Race Times are as follows:
Saturday:  10 a.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m.

• We reserve the right to place riders in proper class. Unlimited classes are open to any bike over 100cc. Race format is one Moto per day, per class

 

Rider Requirements:

• Valid AMA card (Go to  www.amadirectlink.com or call 800-AMA-JOIN)
• Safety equipment per AMA rules
• No paddle tires
• Minor Release: Under 18 years old; parent or legal guardian present or notarized AMA type consent form.

• Medical insurance is the responsibility of every rider
• ATV’s must be equipped with a tether, nerf bars plus front and rear number plates.

Directions: Parkway to exit 4B, straight to Ocean Avenue in Wildwood, make a right on Ocean Avenue follow to end of boardwalk Cresse Avenue make a left onto beach stay on grated road and bear left toward the roller coaster.  Thundermoto staff will meet you there.  Please stay on grated road sand is very soft.

• No Pit riding
• No campfires
• No barbecue propane tanks
• No alcohol

  Prices

• Pit Fee required for everyone over 4 years old.
• Camping Fee Required $50 for Friday and Saturday, additional $25 for Thursday night
• Spectator bleacher seating for Saturday and Sunday will be $8.00 per day.
